I spent the first 3 years of my teaching career in second, but once I transitioned to first, I felt that I found my calling. I truly loved everything about first grade. My absolute favorite was teaching them to read.
During my first year in first grade, I created a math journal for my team and I to use to supplement our math curriculum. Once I began creating, I could not stop. I felt that I found my second passion in addition to teaching… Creating!
I enjoy sharing my teaching ideas, tips, books to read, and mostly just helping teachers spend less time lesson planning and more time doing what they enjoy!
