Description

Make teaching and reviewing punctuation fun with these engaging, interactive activities! This Easter themed set includes 3 low-prep activities that are great for students to practice and review using periods, question marks, and exclamation points. Each activity is quick and easy to set up. You can even leave them for a sub!

You can use these activities as a center, whole group activity, small groups, or partner work! They are also perfect for a write the room activity, early finishers, and tutoring.

3 different activities are included. They are:

Easter Egg Punctuation Hunt: The Easter Bunny was hiding the Easter eggs and accidentally hid all the punctuation from our sentences too! Students will read the sentences on the cards and fill in the correct punctuation on their recording sheets. This write the room activity is great for getting your students up and moving!

Punctuation Easter Baskets: Each students gets each page of baskets and eggs. Students color and read the sentence and then fill in the correct punctuation. Then, they glue the eggs on the baskets with the correct type of sentence. You can also print on colored cardstock if you don’t want students to color.

Feed Me Punctuation Carrots: Students read the sentences on the carrots and place them on the correct bunny.

No Prep Pages: Use as you see fit!

Your students will love practicing using correct punctuation with these activities. They’ll be out of their seats and engaged in learning.

Teachers like you have said about our other punctuation activities similar to this one:

“My students have really enjoyed doing these activities and have asked for more. So when I saw this new one I had to add it to the collection. I hang one set around the school or hallway and classroom for students to get up and move and they work as teams to correctly answer each one. I use the other set in a station to practice and then they complete one of the pages independently to assess the skills. I love these and so do the students!” -Heather Waugh (after using the Groundhog Day set)

“My students loved using this resource.  We had a review day before Thanksgiving break, and this was the perfect resource to review the different kind of punctuation.  Thank you.” -Tricia G. (after using the Thanksgiving set)
