Halloween ELA & Math Centers

Description

Halloween is here! Cook up some fun in the cauldron with these ELA and Math centers!

Here is what is included:

{Math}
-Trick Or Treat: Students will sort the cards into a “trick” or a “treat” (true or false). Color and blacklines are included. A recording sheet is also included.
-Pumpkin Roll: Students roll dice to come up with a total number. Students must write the partners (the numbers on the dice) underneath the appropriate pumpkin.
-Base 10 BOO!: Students match the base 10 cards with the appropriate number card. Students record on their recording sheet.
-Wicked Word Problems: Students have word problem cards. They record the answer on the recording sheet.
-Haunted Hundred: Students piece together a giant 120 chart. The 120 chart has missing numbers and students must fill the numbers with the number cards. A recording sheet is provided.

{ELA}
-Spooky ABC Sort: Students sort the words into alphabetical order. Color and blacklines are included. A recording sheet is provided.
-Let’s Describe: {Haunted House} Students sort words that describe a haunted house and words that do not describe a haunted house. A bubble map organizer and writing pages are provided. Color and blacklines are included. {Witch} Students sort words that describe a witch and words that do not describe a witch. A bubble map organizer and writing pages are provided. Color and blacklines are included.
-Scary Sentence Scrambler: Students scramble the words to make a sentence. There are four different sentence sets. A recording sheet is provided.
-Boo! A Question Fright!: Students scramble the words to make a question. There are four different sentence sets. A recording sheet is provided.
-Stir Up Sight Words & Stir Up Sentences: Students pick sight words from a pile (or a toy cauldron like in mine!) and write the sight word on the recording sheet. A sentence recording sheet is provided as well. The sight words are the first 100 on the Fry list.
