Description

Main idea can be a difficult concept to teach to the primary grades, but recognizing them within a short text can make it easier to teach and for your students to understand! There are a variety of fiction and nonfiction passages included.

Each page includes a short, simple text as well as comprehension questions. Comprehension questions include two response questions: “What is the main idea?” and “What was one supporting detail?” and one multiple choice question: “What are other supporting details in the text?”
