This unit includes:
- 6 lesson plans
- Pre- and post assessments
- Bookmarks
- Reading passages
- 3 reading centers
- Graphic organizers
- Discussion cards
- Interactive flipbook
- Google Slides
Aligned to Common Core Standard: RL.1.6: Identify who is telling the story at various points in a text.
Each lesson plan will take one day, possibly two days. You can sprinkle the additional activities throughout the week. In my classroom, I would plan to spend 2 days on each lesson plan so that I could add in the additional activities that are included. I would also use the discussion cards during my guided reading groups.
When you use this reading unit, you will be able to effectively teach your students to identify who is telling the story as they read or listen to a story. The lesson plans make it simple to set up your instruction.
This resource is preloaded into Google Slides! You will click on the links provided in the resource and save a copy to your Google Drive. You must have a Google account to use the digital version.
