Description

Pop The Balloon! is a fun and engaging game that is the perfect way to begin your guided reading groups! To play, give each child a card and listen to them as they start at the bottom and work their way to the top to “pop” the balloon! It’s a great way to assess if your students know their sounds. I like to spend up to 5 minutes of the beginning of my reading groups reviewing these sounds as a warm-up before beginning the guided reading lesson.
