100 School Days is a fun book where students put a penny in the jar every day until they reach day 100. The book focuses on students counting each day and that each penny represents one day more.

100th Day Worries

100th day of school picture books

I love 100th Day Worries because it ties together two important lessons- the 100th day and the anxiety and worry that students can feel with assignments and big days. In this story, the main character (Jessica) worries about everything. When she receives the assignment to bring in 100 of one item for the 100th day, she worries about what to bring! This is very relatable to many students who worry, so this is a great read aloud for the 100th day!

100 Snowmen

100th day of school picture books

100 Snowmen isn’t particularly a 100th day of school book, but it’s a great book to read for the day! This is particularly great for the lower elementary grades because it counts along to 100, but also has addition facts! I love the incorporation of the addition facts throughout the book.

Emily’s 100 Days Of School

In Emily’s 100 Days Of School, you read about Emily’s first day of school and how it leads to her 100th day of school. This is a fun one to add to your collection of 100th day of school books.

I always read this book in first grade too, even though it says kindergarten in the title. I just love 100th day books, so why not?! In this book, students must bring in “100 of some wonderful, one hundred-full thing!” Miss Bindergarten makes sure that the students in her class have a memorable 100th day of school.
