Missing Tooth Grins

A Smile For Every Lesson Plan

Currently {October} Baseball, Baseball, BASEBALL, ROYALS BABY!

HOLY COW IT’S OCTOBER! WHERE DID THE TIME GO?
No, seriously.
I’m being serious here, people. September flew by so fast. I feel like school just started.
It didn’t by the way… In case you were wondering. According to my planner, we’ve been in school for 8 whole weeks. What the what? Weird.

Time to link up with Farley from Oh Boy 4th Grade for her monthly linky party! Woo!

Listening: Yea, you read that right. We are home watching the ROYALS play in the PLAYOFFS. Those of you not from Kansas City or not born and raised as a Royals fan have no idea the pain we have endured for the past few years. And by that, I mean the past 29 years. Yea, the Royals haven’t played a playoff game since they won the World Series in 1985. So, I literally haven’t been alive for a Royals playoff game considering I wasn’t around in 1985. So, you can imagine the energy buzzing around Kansas City right now. It’s electric (boogie woogie woogie). This is the third game this week with extra innings and they are AHEAD in the 11th inning. I can’t take it. If it I make it through this post without a heart attack, I’ll be happy.
Loving: See above. To add on to that though, my DB and I went to the Wild Card game on Tuesday. It went into 12 innings and it was nothing short of amazing.
Thinking: I basically haven’t worked out since the school year began. And, to be completely honest… I basically haven’t worked out since the summer. I feel gross.
Wanting: Maybe this is a need. I’m exhausted.
Needing: I haven’t caught up on my sleep since the Wild Card game on Tuesday. We got home at 1:30 in the morning. It was crazy and I’m still so tired.

Here’s us at the game Tuesday:

I know how you feel about having your team not be in the playoffs; I have been a Saints fan all my life! It was super exciting when they actually went to the Super Bowl for the first time and even more exciting that they won!
