You read that correctly, people. This is my last Monday as a free woman. My normal crazy train of emotions is in overdrive right now with sadness {that my summer is ending}, happiness and joy {for a new school year with new firsties}, stress {of course}, and nerves {typical}.
I’m linking up with Tara from 4th Grade Frolics to show you my Monday Made-It project. It was also my #Create2Educate project for Michaels! It was pretty easy and cheap!

I went to Michaels on Friday just because I felt like it. I had no craft in mind. I just like to walk in Michaels sometimes to look around. That’s normal, right?
I didn’t even think to take pictures, which is so unlike me and weird.
I found myself in the wooden area and noticed that all the wooden frames and accents were SEVENTY PERCENT OFF! What the what?! So, this large frame that you see was only $2.44 and the camera was 44 cents. So, I picked up some chalkboard paint and glittery pink paint and was on my way!
I added three coats of chalkboard paint over the course of the weekend and four coats of pink glittery paint.
After letting it all sit for 24 hours, I rubbed chalk all over the frame and then dusted it off to give it the chalkboard look. And, here it is!
I actually did not glue that camera on. It’s temporarily stuck on so that if I want to change this to frame to something else, I can! For example, if we take pictures like this on a certain holiday or something! Knowing me, I’ll probably keep the camera forever though… 🙂

Ahh this is adorable! and YOU are adorable!! Can't even believe the camera was only $.44!! What a deal! I may have to add this one last craft to my list before school starts! Have a happy last week 🙂

Come What May
So cute! I picked up some of those wooden frames the other day too! Mine were smaller though, but for 85% off how could I NOT buy them!
