Christmas Math Centers

Description

There are five math centers included in this Christmas-themed pack. In this pack, you will find:

-Catch Me If You Can: A gingerbread themed activity in which the students sort the addition equations (with three numbers) into “You Can’t Catch Me!” (true) or “You Caught Me!” (false). After sorting the cards, students record their answers on their recording sheet.

-The Great Gift Exchange: Students pick two number cards. They compare the two numbers and place the correct Greater Than/ Less Than card between the two numbers. A recording sheet is provided.

-The Missing Ornament: Students pick a card. They read the equation with the missing addend. Students fill in the missing number on the ornament. This is best used as a dry erase activity once laminated.

-Santa Sums: Students solve the sums of each equation. Once they write it on the card, they sort the sums into even or odd categories. This is best used as a dry erase activity once laminated.

-Penguin Puzzles: Students piece together the puzzles. One piece of the puzzle is a number and the students must find the other puzzle piece with the matching base ten blocks.
