Description

Pop The Balloon! is a fun and engaging game that originally began as a way to begin guided reading groups. Now, it can be a fun and engaging way for you to begin your guided math groups too! To play, give each child a card and listen to them as they start at the bottom and work their way to the top to “pop” the balloon! It’s a great way to assess if your students know how to tell time. I like to spend up to 5 minutes of the beginning of my group time reviewing with these cards as a warm-up before beginning the math small group lesson.
