A Smile For Every Lesson Plan
You can’t have Apple Day without eating apples! This is the best part! I cut red, green, and yellow apples with my apple cutter. Each student got a piece of each color apple. Afterwards, we graphed our favorites.
I guess you could call this “school-made” applesauce, rather than homemade applesauce 🙂 After tasting it, we graphed whether we liked it or not. We did this as a whole group on the board and then individually at their seats. Make sure you scroll to the bottom of this blog post to grab these free sheets and the applesauce recipe!
Of course, we added some books about apples into our learning as well! I think it’s important to have fiction and non-fiction books throughout the day so students can learn about apples and also be entertained through their reading!
