Love Valentine’s Day Freebies? Valentine’s Day is such a fun time to be with students in the classroom, but it can also be chaotic! I have collaborated with some amazing teachers to bring you some free Valentine’s Day activities for kindergarten, first grade, and second-grade students! We hope this will make your life (and teaching) easier this loved season!
Here Are Your Free Valentine’s Day Resources
This Valentine’s Day main idea passage is perfect for students to practice finding the main idea and supporting details in a short passage. It’s multiple choice and short answers to help students with both skills.
This set of grammar worksheets is fun for Valentine’s Day! It includes skills for identifying nouns, verbs, or adjectives, identifying proper nouns and capitalizing them, and identifying correct punctuation.
When Love Monster doesn’t fit in with the rest of the residents of Cutesville, he sets out on a journey to find someone who will love him just the way he is. After reading this story by Rachel Bright, your students can create their own Love Monster. This craft can stand alone, or be paired with one of the writing templates.
